First Years Learning Center
First Years Learning Center is an amazing home daycare serving kids two and under. Owner Claudia Tramontana provides affordable, high-quality childcare and is a well-known figure in her Northern Virginia community. I can personally vouch for her passion and dedication to helping little ones learn and grow.
With her recent enrollment increase from nine to twelve kids, Claudia saw it as the perfect time for a fresh start. She came to me excited about rebranding—with a new logo and branded promotional items to match her growing business.
Logo Development
Art and writing are essential parts of a child's education at First Years Learning Center. The colorful caterpillar and hand-drawn typeface represent youth development—symbolizing a child learning to color inside the lines and spell their name. The color palette draws inspiration from the bright, playful hues of a daycare play mat.
custom type
My daughter, who attended the center as a toddler and is now in elementary school, helped her daddy create the base characters for the custom type.
